MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL Debuts in Chicago

At Chicago’s Goodman Theater, veteran producers Sherry Wright and Craig Haffner greeted me before their fantastic new musical Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Based on John Berendt’s best-selling novel, the book is by Taylor Mac, and the music and lyrics are by Jason Robert Brown. Watching the amazing J. Harrison Ghee star as Lady Chablis was a joy. I caught it just before it closed and am so glad I did. There are exciting plans to bring it to Broadway. Stay tuned for more!
